Admissions Criteria
The admissions criteria includes:
- age
- availability of places
- English language proficiency
- Performence on entrance exam and inteview
- previous school records
- siblings
- special abilities
- previous international educational experience

Standard Admission
A child with the appropriate age for the grade level before 1st September of that academic year is eligible for standard admission. Appropriate ages for the grades are:

Enrollment Interview and Assessment:
All students must go through a level test and an individual interview in order to be accepted into RBPS . As a part of the application process all parents must sit the enrollment interview, which is to ensure the school's philosophy and programs match parent's educational beliefs and expectations.
Factors that contribute to acceptance depending on the grade are Age-appropriate social skills, language ability, academic ability and the current makeup of the class.

Exceptional Admission:
A child whose birthday is on or after 1st September of that academic year but has exceptional academic skills and appropriate social maturity may still be considered for admission into a particular grade. Acceptance is contingent upon a successful interview and previous school records.

Lottery:
If the capacity is insufficient to enroll all eligible students who apply to RBPS , School will select students through a lottery selection process that does not discriminate against any student.

Sibling Policy:
If one child from a family is successful in the lottery, other siblings will be accepted automatically for that school year.

Documents for Registration:
To finalize the registration we need following documents:
- Proof of residency (one of the electricity bill, water bill, gas bill and bank statement for last 3 months)
- Birth Certificate
- Appropriate immunization records

Admission Procedure:
We appreciate your interest in RBPS , and we are anticipating a full review of your candidacy. Admission procedure of RBPS  is explained below. 

1. Complete all of the forms in the application documents which are available online from school web site www.rosebud.edu.hk or direct from school office by visiting the school in person, writing, telephone, fax or e-mail :rbps@rosebud.edu.hk  making sure that they are signed. Return the forms with a non-refundable 100 HKD Application Fee .

2. After you return your application, schedule your entrance exam and interview date with the office. RBPS should evaluate the candidate's records and interview him/her to make a decision.

In order to evaluate an applicant, RBPS must have:
A report of performance from previous school. .
The score of the entrance exam, which will be taken at RBPS . 
An on-campus interview with the applicant.
A copy of the applicant's birth certificate or HK ID card.
Up to date health records of the applicant.  
Recommendation letters from teachers,guidance counselor or principal, if applicable

3. Upon completion of the applicant's file and an interview with the principal, the application will be reviewed.  The parents will be be informed ASAP.
