Field Trips
.
We believe that education encompasses a wide variety of activities.
In line with this: RBPS organises education visits..
We offer a series of local field trips linked as much as possible to the relevant curriculum as we believe that learning does not just take place within the classroom. The same trips may not run every year. However, we do try to offer a variety in an effort to further international and cultural understanding. Students have a significant role on field trips, not just as learners but also as ambassadors for our school and community.
To ensure that excursions are run smoothly, the following are expected requirements:
- Permission slips and to be returned promptly.
- Accept that limitations may be more stringent than normal in order to ensure safety. RBPS rules are applied.
- Make sure you are never alone; always be in a group of students no less than three and always inform teachers of where you are.
- Remain in the areas designated by trip supervisors.
- A healthy lunch to be packed and labelled clearly with student’s name and grade.
- Absolutely no glass drink bottles please!
- Students should not be given money to spend during excursions.
- Full school uniform must be worn (parents will be advised if this is to be the sports uniform or the general school
uniform).
- As representatives of RBPS, we expect the students to present a positive and courteous image.
Please plan to meet your child at the scheduled time of return. If a field trips returns prior to dismisal time and school is still in session, students will be sent to their classrooms.
Attendance for School trips
The students are required to join educational school trips unless they are sick. The students who do not join the school trips without a valid excuse will be considered as ‘absent’ |
